Through our experience acting for both investors acquiring renewable energy assets and supporting developers, Venturi has developed particular knowledge and expertise in the analysis and valuation of renewable energy projects and companies.

On behalf of the developer, the investor or a bank, we provide independent valuation analysis on the basis of the most recent market information on such variables as market expected returns, transaction-based asset valuations, post PPA power prices and project lifetimes. Methodologies used include Discounted Cash Flow and Market Multiples.

From our background in development, we are also able to define valuations of as yet unbuilt development pipelines rated on the basis of their relative maturity in the development process, including land security, building and environmental permits, grid connection status and power offtake agreements. Risks associated with the development process (delay, increased cost, regulatory change, modified project designs, etc.)  are well understood and taken into account in the analyses and valuations.
