Venturi Renewables acted as adviser to Q Energy on the sale of a portfolio of 8 wind and solar projects with a total capacity of 170MW to an undisclosed buyer.
Q Energy is a leading French renewable developer. For more than 24 years the company has spearheaded the development, construction and operation of solar, wind and storage renewable projects in France.
The company has more than 200 employees and has developed over 2GW to date. The company has a current pipeline of 6GW of onshore, offshore, PV and storage capacity. Its majority shareholder is Hanwha Solutions, a Korean fortune 500 conglomerate, since 2021.
The portfolio for sale consisted of 3 wind projects, 4 ground mounted PV projects and 1 floating solar project, at ready to build stage with specific development items outstanding. All projects were underpinned by tariff awarded through CRE tenders, and enhanced by Corporate PPAs in process of being negotiated. EPC and O&M agreements were provided by the company.
Venturi coordinated a global outreach to experienced investors, unlocking the full value of the projects under the time and project constraints.

Advising the company on key project contracts (including EPC, O&M, PPA contracts)

Advising the company on debt financing terms for the projects
Review of offers and negotiation of sale and purchase agreement
